It all began over a casual chat in the park and several (endless) cups of tea! 

The S-Block Residents Committee (SBRC) is a closely knit group of like minded individuals who felt the need to come together for a collective purpose of bringing harmony and unity in S block, by forging close bonds with everyone in the community and sowing seeds of sincere togetherness. Each of the Founder members bought their unique skills, expertise, social network and talents to the table with selfless warmth and grace.  

A Society was formed and duly registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 on April 11, 2019.  

Since that day, countless events, get togethers, festivals and special occasions have been celebrated with joy and fervor, welcoming not just members but other residents too. We felicitate our elders, teachers, children, members of the Defence forces, including Delhi Police. Please do view the Gallery here to experience the spirit that unites the team and its members! 

With every passing day, more and more members connect with SBRC! We are blessed to see our family grow! Today, we are delighted to share that we are not just individuals but more than 150 families who are connected with a shared goal of spreading happiness.  

SBRC is committed not just towards a happy community but towards a sustainable, happier environment too. Through mindful practices and earnest effort we are striving to create a sustainable eco system. We practice and encourage waste segregation and are determined to become a plastic waste free zone. We are leading the initiative of water harvesting with the full support of concerned government and non government agencies.  

Our greatest delight is to bring a smile to the faces of our precious elders, a spark of light hearted humor amongst each other and the hope of a safe, future for the next generation who we aspire to guide and nurture.  

SBRC is indeed blessed to be guided by a group of Patrons  warm, loving elders who continue to support and inspire the team. It is managed by an elected Managing Committee, who are further supported by a group of volunteers who constitute an Executive Committee . For each of the functions that SBRC aspires to deliver, there is a dedicated sub-committee, for example, sports, communication, events, security, civic amenities and more.
